MIXED MEDIA ARTWORKS • MONTAGE PRINTS
The montage prints are created with dozens of tiny carved blocks and found objects printed on cotton rag paper. I carve all of the blocks.
I first printed ravens using this method and coined the style as "montage prints." I liked the idea of ravens composed of many bits.
These pieces are generally printed on multiple sheets of paper that pin together Pin to wall with chart pins (included) or pin the piece to a backing to be framed.
Although most of of my work is in color, I like printing stark black and white imagery with rich black inks.
