I carve a block for every page in each of my books. I carve them in reverse, so that when I print the block it faces the right direction.
A lot of the behaviors in Ten Rowdy Ravens are rather wacky, yet the fun thing is that with ravens, almost anything is plausible. The big black birds have been known to do the behaviors shown—from sliding down slippery slopes, on both snowy mountain-sides and rooftops, to raiding the backs of trucks, and playing with wolves.
